Shenzhen Institute of Terahertz Technology and Innovation implements the presidency responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors.

Board of Directors

Board of directors is the supreme decision-making body with 5 directors; it includes a chairman and a vice chairman.

Committee of Experts

Committee of experts is formed by well-known experts from home and abroad, responsible for the technological guidance and the standard-setting in the field of THz.

Dean

SITTI has a dean and an executive dean, implements the presidency responsibility system, deans are responsible for the operation and management.

Three Research Centers

Research Center will serve as a terahertz applied research and experimental platform, offering services for Shenzhen terahertz science and technology innovation industry, including THz Radiation and Detection Research Center, THz Spectroscopy and Imaging Research Center and THz Communication Center.

     THz Radiation and Detection Research Center

THz Radiation and Detection Research Center is dedicated to the development of high-performance terahertz time-domain spectrometers for the development of solutions for terahertz applications in related industries; to capture the core technologies of high-performance terahertz emitters and detectors, and research the design and fabrication processes of devices; to develop high power, high reliability and ultra-wideband terahertz devices at room temperature. Currently we have key personnel and research team with the relevant theoretical research, design, engineering and technology integration and other related aspects.

THz Spectrum and Imaging Center 

THz Spectrum and Imaging Center is committed to the development of terahertz body scanner, this device can solve the security problems in airport, customs, large exhibition center, government key departments, sports venues and other important venues; can detect metal material, such as ceramic cutting tools, drug powder, liquid explosives, colloidal bombs and other non-metallic hazardous substances. Fast, efficient, non-contact security check of the dangerous goods hiding in the body is the objective what we want to realize. 

THz Communication Center 

Terahertz Communication Center is the long-term deployment direction of SITTI in the terahertz industry. For high-frequency and high-bandwidth communication industry, facing the different application scenarios of indoor high-speed communication network and long-distance and high-speed communication requirements, the center is devoted to the research and development of millimeter-wave and terahertz communication systems. The long-term goals include the development of millimeter-wave THz satellite communication load and Satellite-link research and product development; military, police and securities markets and other large data flow wireless communications system development; indoor large-capacity wireless networking, consumer products, high-capacity wireless communications product development.

THz Devices and System Test Center

It is a quality assurance department for terahertz devices or product system testing and undertakes external technical services.

Comprehensive Management Department

It is responsible for the internal management of SITTI, the contact and business communication with domestic and foreign R & D institutions and terahertz Components Company. It is an external window, responsible for terahertz-related technical exchanges and services.


Platform R&D Department

The Platform R&D Department is responsible for the market and customer needs, undertakes the production trial function of the Institute's new products, and is committed to the research and application of the Institute's general hardware, software, structures, and processes, continuously improving the market competitiveness of the products and providing customers with high quality products. Currently, terahertz time-domain spectrometer products, OCT detection equipment, bio-terahertz detection equipment, crop detection equipment, and food safety detection equipment have been serialized and widely used in universities, research institutes, and other institutions.
